How to Prepare

4. Use daily – ask your child to name the shape, trace it with a finger, and find objects in the room.

Fun Shape Games

  • Shape Hunt: Hide flashcards around the room and ask child to find the "circle" etc.
  • Shape Sorting: Gather toys/objects and sort them by matching flashcard shape.
  • Shape Walk: While walking outside, point to shapes in nature (round stone, square tile).
  • Play Dough Shapes: Roll play dough into each shape using flashcards as reference.
